Plastic blow molding is one of the more common methods for forming thermoplastic products. Plastic extrusion blow molding machines are composed of mechanical systems, electrical and pneumatic hydraulic systems, heating and cooling systems, etc. The mechanical system is mainly composed of an extruder, a die head, a clamping frame, etc. Extrusion blow molding generally goes through four processes:
(1) Extruding the parison;
(2) The mold is positioned around the parison and clamps the parison;
(3) If it is a container, the neck of the finished product must be formed or fixed;
(4) Introducing air or other media to blow the parison into the shape of the mold cavity, while the finished product is cooled in the mold.
